Geekery has been my passion since at least the time of the above photo. Teaching has been my passion since five years ago, when I fell into a job at the day care I attended as a child. My SuperKids and I get along so well because we have something very important in common: a love of superheroes. We started out small, with me telling them stories based on the Hulk comics I loved as a child. Then we moved on to reading actual comics. Now, we make our own comic books every summer.
When I’m not writing comics with seven-year-olds, I’m writing comics at home or planning for my wedding (less than a year left!). I also work as a tutor at a writing center and as a museum guide at a children’s museum.
